ROGERS, Richard Douglas "Rick"January 30, 1956 - July 24, 2015It is with heartfelt sadness that our family announces the passing of our Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, Favourite Uncle and Friend.Rick is survived by his loving wife Donna; daughters, Jessica (Paul) and Meagan; his mother, Shirley; father-in-law, Ken Vaughan; brothers, Bill (Liz), Don (Darlene), Robert; sisters, Cindy (Jack), Lori (Barry) Necyk; sisters-in-law, Darlene Hein and Kelly Vaughan; very close aunt and uncle, Marj and Dale Myhre; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.He was predeceased by his father, Bill; his mother-in-law Nonie Vaughan and his sister-in-law, Carla Vaughan. Rick also leaves behind many other loving relatives and friends.The family would like to thank all the Health Care professionals involved in his care. Their dedication and compassion gave us the strength to get through the difficult days. We also thank our dear friends for always being there. Although we are sorry for our loss, we are grateful for his peace.At Rick''s request, cremation has already taken place. A celebration of Rick''s life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton.
