At the end of WWII, he met and married the love of his life, Mary, to whom he was devoted for 70 years. His story is a Canadian success story. After moving to Toronto, he joined the John Inglis Company in 1946 and rose to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In 1968, he acquired Precision Small Parts Inc., a small machine tool company and built it into a leading international supplier of high tech components to the textile and defense industries with plants in Toronto and Charlottesville, VA.
