Richard Lee Anderson - SAVANNAH - Richard Lee Anderson, 66, died Monday, June 28, 2010 in Roanoke, Virginia due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was a native and lifelong resident of Savannah and was a member of the Intercontinental Church of God. He served in the United States Coast Guard and was a member of the National Professional Wallpaper Hangers Guild. Richard was an avid motorcycle rider and was a member of ABATE, and HOG. Richard was a great son, husband, dad, and granddad, and especially loved his mother. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard C. Anderson, and his son Richard Greg Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Nancy T. Anderson, of Savannah, his mother, Ruby M. Anderson, of Savannah, daughter, Brenda A. Garrett and her husband Matt, of Savannah, and son, Bradley Anderson and his wife Sara, of Guyton. He is also survived by his step-daughter, Holly Todd, of Jacksonville, Florida, step-daughter, Kim Vaughan, of Texas, step-son, Michael Mattox, of Jacksonville, Florida, and ten grandchildren. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 2, 2010 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. Burial will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
