Richard Lee Anderson, 49, died March 24, 2009, at Sebastian River Medical Center, Roseland. He was born in Vero Beach and lived in Indian River County since 1984, coming from Fort Pierce. He was the founder of the Gospel Warriors Singers. Survivors include his wife, Camilla Anderson of Vero Beach; sons, Curtis Paris of South Korea, Demorrio Paris of Afghanistan, Daniel Owens and Martavus Owens, both of Vero Beach, and Richard Anderson Jr. of San Antonio; daughters, Rolonda Anderson and Rineisha Anderson, both of Sebastian, and Shanell Carter of Tifton, Ga.; brother, George Harrington of Fort Pierce; sisters, Johnny Mae Anderson of Fort Pierce, Ruthie Evans of Vero Beach, Linda Williams of Caldonia, Miss., Katina Gibson of Oslo and Tiffiney Brown of Sebastian; and 10 grandchildren. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. April 3 with funeral services at 11 a.m. April 4 at the Humble Church of the Living God in Christ. Burial will be in Gifford Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hortense/Mills Funeral Home.
