Decker, Richard JohnApr. 16, 1936 - Aug. 2, 2013Decker, Richard John, 77, of Venice, FL, passed away at home Friday, August 2, 2013. He was born and raised in Springfield, MA. He spent many years living in Longmeadow, MA before moving to Sarasota, FL in 1990 and then Venice, FL in 2006. He worked in the Design Industry most of his life and was a veteran. He leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years, Anne. He is survived by his daughter Suzanne of Sarasota, FL; his son Thomas of Venice, FL; and his daughter Patricia of North Port, FL. He is also survived by his grandchildren Richard Nikolaus, Ethan, Sophia, Luke, and Thomas Jr. He is also survived by his cousin Robert Adams of Venice, FL. A private mass at Our Lady of Lourdes was held in August.
