Richard H. Harrington, né en 1915, conjoint de Velma Wallenius, fils de Waldo E et Sadie, père de Dennis R et Va, est décédé à l'âge de 88 ans.
GARDNER -- Richard H. Harrington, 88, 124 Rosewood Drive, formerly of Ashby, died Thursday, May 29, in Henry Heywood Memorial Hospital, Gardner after being stricken ill in his home earlier that day. Mr. Harrington was born in Princeton on May 25, 1915, the son of Waldo E. and Sadie (Whitehouse) Harrington and resided many years in Westminster and Ashby before moving to Gardner six years ago. He is survived by a son, Dennis R. Harrington of Alexandria, Va.; a stepdaughter, Nancy Chute of Cotuit; several nieces and nephews. He was the husband of Velma (Wallenius) Harrington who died in 1999 and Bertha (Joki) Harrington who died in 1978. For 25 years Mr. Harrington worked as a winder at the Crocker Burbank Paper Co. in Fitchburg, retiring in 1978. Prior to that he worked at Simonds Saw & Steel and also at the R.H. Hamilton Construction Co. He was a former member of the Princeton Congregational Church. HARRINGTON -- On May 29, Richard H. Harrington, Gardner. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Louis M. Isabelle Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St, Fitchburg. Burial will be in West Cemetery, Ashby. A visitation period will be held Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 7 Oak St., Worcester, Mass.; or the American Heart Association, 21 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
