Mr. Arthur Richard Davis, age 67, of Florence, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006, at ECM Hospital. Richard was a member of Creekside Church, owner and operator of Cabinets Plus and a U.S. Army veteran.Visitation was last evening at Greenview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be today, Jan. 10, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Creekside Church, with burial to follow in Center Hill Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be Keith Davis, Charles Kretzer and Charles Frederick. Mr. Davis' body will lie in state at the church from noon-1 p.m.Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Davis, of Florence; two sons, Keith Davis and wife, Ellen, of Muscle Shoals, and Kent Davis and wife, Dawn, of Ringgold, Ga.; two sisters, Judy Lane and husband, Jimmy, and Shirley James and husband, Jimmy; and one brother, Bill Davis and wife, Norma, all of Florence; seven grandchildren, Tabitha, Danielle, Brandon, Britney, Scott, Austin and Karstan Davis.Pallbearers will be family and friends.Greenview Funeral Home, of Florence, is directing.
