Richard Ammann, 81, of Kenilworth, N.J., died peacefully at his daughter's home in Beachwood, N.J., on Dec. 29, 2013. Visiting hours will be Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, N.J. Funeral is Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home before celebrating an 11 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Theresa Church, Kenilworth. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J. Mr. Ammann was a resident of Kenilworth for many years. He was employed with Ullrich Copper Corporation in Kenilworth before retiring. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Clara in 2005, and by his daughter, Crissy, in 2012. Surviving are two children, Trish Schmeling and her husband, Rich, and Ricky Ammann; his grandson, Christopher Schmeling, a niece, Kathy Hardaker, and his nephew, Keith Ammann.
