RHONDA RENEE CLARK CHESTERTON, IN Rhonda Renee Clark, age 42, of Chesterton, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014. Rhonda was born on September 29, 1971 in Gary, IN to Damian A. and Herma Franchville. She was a lifetime area resident. Rhonda married Jimmy Wayne Clark, Jr. on June 9, 1991 at Deep River County Park in Hobart. She was a member of the Calumet Astronomical Society and the ASPCS. She loved tie-dyed clothes and traveling. Rhonda will be remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed. Rhonda is survived by her husband of over 22 years, Jimmy Wayne Clark, Jr.; two daughters: Heather (Josh) Rollins and Holly Clark; grandchild, Nicholas Rollins; parents: Damian A. and Herma Franchville; sister, April (Salvador) Nunez; niece, Amber Moreau; two great nieces: Paytin and Paige; three nephews: Bradley (Angela) Franchville, Anthony Franchville, and Ivan Nunez; three great nephews: Bradley Jr., Christopher and Dylan; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; dogs, Mr. Charlie and Bella. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lynn Franchville; paternal grandparents: Damian P. and Thelma Franchville; and maternal grandparents: Herman and Lela Darkis. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist Rhonda's family with funeral expenses. Funeral services for Rhonda will be Thursday, May 8, 2014, 2:00 p.m., at Rees Funeral Home, 5341 Central Ave., Portage with Rev. Bob Burton officiating, Burial will follow at Calvary cemetery.
