Rhoda Williams Johnson, 85, of North Caldwell, N.J., died on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012. A memorial service will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church - Chapel, 271 Roseland Ave., Essex Fells, N.J. on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 3:30 p.m. Interment was private. Arrangements are in care of the Dancy Funeral Home, Caldwell, N.J. Rhoda was born in Cedarhurst, N.Y., and lived in North Caldwell since 1964. Miss Johnson was a graduate of Centenary College. She was a self-employed photographer and a member and past president of the Caldwell Art Association. Surviving are her sister-in-law, Mary Carswell Johnson; two nieces, Sarah Harnisch and Susan Cummings, and a nephew, Cortland Johnson. She was predeceased by her parents Dr. Austin B. Johnson and Edith Benham Johnson, and brothers, James Benham Johnson and Austin Baker Johnson. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter's Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 96, Essex Fells, N.J. 07021 would be appreciated.
