The Rev. Lee Miller was ushered into the presence of the Lord on May 8, 2003. Born Sept. 24, 1934, in Altoona, Pa., he was 68. He served his country in the U.S. Army before entering the ministry. The Rev. Miller was a licensed evangelist with the Christian & Missionary Alliance. He was best known as a child evangelist for years, conducting children's programs and Bible schools around the country. "Uncle Lee," as he was known to the children, was a talented puppeteer and ventriloquist. The Rev. Miller is survived by his faithful wife of 43 years, Beatrice "Aunt Bee" Miller. Mrs. Miller will receive friends Monday evening from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Pelham Road Alliance Church. The service will be at the church Tuesday at 3 p.m. The casket will be available for additional viewing from 2:15 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service for out-of-town friends.
