Pastor Dearing United Methodist Church Retired, 1SG US Army Retired, Chief of Logistics (MWR) MARTINEZ, Ga. - Entered into rest Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at Doctors Hospital, Rev. Allen L. Hamilton, 62, husband of Virginia C. Hamilton. Rev. Hamilton was a native of Indianapolis, IN and had resided in Martinez since 1985. He was retired as First Sergeant with the US Army after 21 years and as Chief of Logistics with MWR after 20 years at Ft. Gordon. He was President, of the Augusta Linx Booster Club, 2002-2004, pastor of Dearing United Methodist Church, 2005 - 2008 and an active member of the Emmaus Community. Rev. Hamilton was a loving husband and father. Family members in addition to his wife include his daughters and sons-in-law: Kim Moncion of Sudbury, Canada, Kimberly and Jason Waters of Augusta, Cynthia and Scott Adams of Augusta, Amanda Hamilton of Augusta and grandchildren: Chelsea Gould, Rachelle Moncion, Jay Waters and Megan Waters. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 20, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mosaic United Methodist Church, 478 Columbia Industrial Blvd., Evans, with Rev. Carolyn Moore and Rev. Gary Dean officiating. Interment will follow in the Dearing United Methodist Church Cemetery, 161 Church St., with full Military Honors. Memorials may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O.
