Renate Maria Adams -FORT VALLEY - Renate Maria Adams, 62, passed away Tuesday January 14, 2003 at her residence after a two year battle with cancer who was treated by her dedicated oncologist, Dr. Vundyla Reddy. Funeral Services will be 2P.M., Friday, January 17, 2003 at Watson-Hunt Chapel with entombment following at Perry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7:00 until 8:30P.M., Thursday, January 16, 2003 at the funeral home. -Renate was the daughter of the late Eugene and Maria Seemann, and sister of the late Hilda Seemann. All were formerly of Stuttgart, Germany. Mrs. Adams had resided here for the past 40 years was a former beautician and employee of Rock-Tenn from 1985 until she medically retired in April 2001. She was a Baptist and attended Crestview Memorial Baptist Church. -Survivors include her fiance, Bob Ackley of Warner Robins; a son, Johnny Adams of Oregon, Wisconsin; daughters, Barbara Adams Crenshaw of Jacksonville, FL, Patricia Adams Brown of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Tina Adams of Perry; grandchildren, Christopher, Johanthan, Jaeden, Aaron, and Elijah; a future great-grandchild, Hunter Kelly; father of her children, Rudy Adams of Montezuma; a brother, Eugene Seemann of Germany; nieces, Renate and Sabina, and a nephew, Dietmar. -Those who wish may sign the guestbook registry at watsonhunt.com.
