Rena Weeks of Rockland, formerly of Scituate, passed away peacefully Oct. 13, 2012. Rena was born in Millis, the daughter of the late J. Louise (Rolph) and S. Samuel Saville. She was an avid golfer, winning club championship one year at Scituate Country Club. She enjoyed playing poker with her fun friends. Rena worked for a candy distributor and sometimes she worked through the holidays in retail. She is survived by her husband, Stevens Weeks; daughter, Debra Voss of Plymouth; and sister, Virginia Krohn of Millis; as well as lots of loving nieces, nephews and many great friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Winston Saville, and sisters, Flora Lane, Shirley Belding, Raynee Lindfors, Dolly Nolan and June Stevens. A celebration of Renas life will be held at the Bartlett-Santos Funeral Home, 338 Court St., Plymouth, Saturday, Oct. 27, from 12-1:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be private. The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words, hugs and support and thanks to the Life Care Center in Scituate. Rena will be missed and leaves great memories.
