Rebecca Leanne Carter, age 20, of Fort Payne, Ala., formerly of Florence, Ala., passed away Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011.She was a 2009 graduate of Wilson High School and was a color guard in the band. All friends are invited for the visitation 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Caleb Cunningham officiating.Donations may be made to the Wilson High School Band.Survivors include father, Mike Carter (Cyndi), of Lavergne, Tenn.; mother, Laura Carter, of Florence, Ala.; brother, Joshua Carter, of Florence, Ala.; aunts, uncles and cousins; friend, Shelia Barnes.The family slide show may be viewed at sprywilliams.com.
