CROSSETT, Ark. - Rebecca Karen Carter 54, of Crossett passed away Friday March 7, 2008 at her home. She was born March 23, 1953 a daughter of Charles and Catherine Beatty. Mrs. Carter was a retired LPN. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Beatty of Augusta, Georgia. Survivors include her husband of thirty years; George C. Carter Jr.; two sons; Donald Carter (Tina) of Crossett; Chris Brown (Angie) of Grovetown, GA; three daughters; Sharon Jones of Pensacola, Florida; Beth Pierce (Chad) of Scott Air Force Base, Illinois; Jennifer Martin (Brad) of Crossett; her mother; Catherine Paulshock of Phoenix, City AL; two brothers; Charles Beatty Jr. (Lottie) of Hopewell, VA; and Tim Beatty (Cindy) of Appling, GA; one sister; Catherine Delamater (Jim) of Leesburg, VA; fourteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews , and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday March 10, 2008 at Jones Funeral Home with Bro. Ronald Young officiating. Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett. Visitation will be held Saturday from 6 p.m. until and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until at 207 Noble Ave. in Crossett. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
