BELANGER, Raymond Ronald - In loving memory of Raymond Ronald Belanger, 61 years of Hanmer who passed away Monday, December 3rd, 2007 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. He was born in Sudbury and married Rita (Guindon) in 1979 in Sudbury. Ray had been the shop coordinator at Velco Machining, retiring in 1995 with 15 years service. He enjoyed fishing and golfing and he was an avid reader. Ray was a “special person“ whose positive attitude and commitment to help others inspired all who knew him. The focus of his life was his family who will always cherish his love, care and devotion to them. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Beloved husband of Rita (Guindon) Belanger of Hanmer. Loving father of Nathalie Duval (husband Roch) of Chelmsford, Jocelyne Belanger (companion Dan) of Sudbury, Kevin Guy (wife Vivianne) of Whitby, April Leroux (husband Al) of Sudbury and Todd Guy (wife Sylvie) of Timmins. Cherished grandfather of Melissa, Christian, Dominic, Carly, Kyle and Faith. Dear son of Leo and Eunice Belanger predeceased. Special son- in-law to Cecile Guindon of Sudbury. Dear brother of Diane Goudreau of Sudbury, Peter Belanger of Vancouver, Craig Belanger (wife Christine) of Sudbury and Leah Levesque (husband Larry) of Whitby. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Prayers in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Friday, December 7th, 2007 at 10 a.m. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Chelmsford Cemetery.
