Raymond Lawrence Cross Jr., 60     NORTH BRIDGTON - Raymond Lawrence Cross Jr, 60, husband of Laurel (Ridlon) Cross, died in Bridgton on Oct. 19, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer.      He was born in Bridgton on Feb. 24, 1945, the son of Raymond L. & Blanche M. (Kimball) Cross Sr. Raymond was educated in local schools and worked in the Bridgton area all of his life; first at Milts Gulf Station, later at Ray's Repair Shop for 25 years and finally with Cross Lawn Furniture for the last 15 years. Mr. Cross was an avid fly fisherman and hunter and his family and his faith were his life.      Many friends have stated that he sacrificed himself to give to others.     Raymond is survived by his wife of 41 years, Laurel Cross of North Bridgton; two sons, Paul Cross and his wife Jennifer of Florida and Mark Cross and his wife Michelle of North Bridgton; two daughters, Trisha Mullins and her husband Brad of Harpswell and Tammy Anderson and her husband Ernie of Harrison; a brother, Milt Cross and his wife Betty of Bridgton and eight grandchildren Zech and Rachel Mullen, Hannah, Jonathan, Katie, Samuel and Haley Cross, and Britta Anderson.         Memorials are suggested to:    The American Cancer Society, Maine Division Inc.    52 Federal St.    Brunswick, Maine 04011         Arrangements by Raymond- Wentworth Funeral Home, 8 Elm Street, Bridgton.
