MORRISON Raymond Arthur Morrison passed away peacefully, December 21, 2006 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born April 11, 1915 in Solon, Ohio, to John and Jessie Arthur Morrison. He moved to Florida in 1952. Raymond was predeceased by his parents, sisters and the two loves of his life, Vernice (35 years) 1973, and Helen (27years) 2002. He was a loving husband, father of Cheryl Anderton, Arlyn Dockery (Charles), Deanna Hall (Mel), and Rusty Steiger (Jerrie), Grandfather of 10, great grandfather of 15 and a great great grandfather to 1. He touched the lives of many as a friend, always leaving them with a smile. Raymond worked as a lithographic pressman for many years. He was a decorated Veteran of the U. S. Army serving his country in both Europe and Asia during World War II. He was a former member of the AMVETS in Bedford, Ohio. He was the 5th generation of family to settle in Solon, Ohio. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Jacksonville, Fl. A Celebration of his Life Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Grace Lutheran Church, with Pastor Rick Engel officiating. Inurnment was held on January 4, 2007 at Roselawn Cemetery in Solon, Ohio. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Memorial Fund at Grace Lutheran Church on McCormick Road.
