HENDERSON, Ray C. Born January 21, 1912 and passed away peacefully at home on March 11, 2003, with his family at his side. Beloved husband for 61 years of Ruth Pauline (nee Pierce). Devoted father of son Wayne and wife Lydia and daughter Susan Renaud. Loving grandfather of Sarah Henderson and Natalie Henderson and friend Ryan, Philip Renaud and friend Lori, Jeffrey Renaud and fiancee Brianne. Ray is survived by 2 sisters Blanche and Givie. Predeceased by 2 brothers Gordon and Burton and 3 sisters Gladys, Alma and Ruby. Ray is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ray and his brother Gordon owned and operated the Canadian Auto Stores, a 60 year old local Windsor business, Ray retired 15 years ago but continued to support his son Wayne daily until his 91st Birthday. Friends will be received at the Morris Sutton Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 68 Giles Blvd. East on Saturday, March 15, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Ray will be cremated with a private family interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers if you so wish donations may be made to the charity of your choice. A tree will be planted in memory of Ray Henderson in the Morris Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 28, 2003. All are welcome.
