NORRIS Ralph L. Norris, age 75, beloved husband of Claire Luisetti Norris for 51 years, died on Wednesday, October 1, 2003, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. Mr. Norris was born and grew up in Medford, Mass. After serving in the U.S. Army in Japan, he attended Boston University, graduating with a degree in business. In 1952 he relocated to Connecticut to begin employment as an accountant at General Electric in Bridgeport. At General Electric he was a member of their Quarter Century Club and the Elfun Society. Ralph served on the Board of Directors of Riverside Cemetery, and was a longtime member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Shelton, where he served at various times as a vestry member, treasurer and junior warden. He is survived by three daughters, Carol Norris of Eastford, Conn., Paula Rodney of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Joanne Norris of Stafford Springs; and two sons, Richard Norris of Manasquan, N.J., and Robert Norris of Shelton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Kate Norris Flanagan, Zachary Norris, Lily Norris, David, Clarissa, Nathan and Jeremy White; one great-grandchild, Victoria White; a brother, J. Edward Montgomery of Lynbrook, N.Y.; and a sister, Dorothy J. Norris, formerly of Medford, Mass., and now residing in Shelton. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Norris. Friends may greet the family at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, Derby, on Friday (TODAY) from 4 to 7 p.m. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Shelton. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
