GIBSON, Ga. - Mrs. Rachel Anne Atwell Carroll, 76, of Gibson, entered into rest Sunday, December 03, 2006 at the Gibson Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Oconee, Georgia February 5, 1930 to the late Reverend D. P. and Mary Lula White Atwell. She is predeceased by her brother, James Cecil Atwell and her sister, Mary Viola Teston. She is survived by her niece, Mary Ruth and Jimmy Spence; her great-nieces, Kelly Evans and Brandy Shelton all of Thomson. There will be a private graveside service at Bethel United Methodist Church, Monday, December 4, 2006, at 4 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of the Gibson Health and Rehabilitation Center for their loving and constant care of this very special woman.
