Ruth McNally Carroll died March 7, 2004. Widow of the late John Kennedy Carroll, she is survived by two sons: John K. Carroll Jr. of New York City and Edward P. Carroll of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY; and two daughters: Merigo Carroll Chianese of New Rochelle, NY and Mary Carroll Linder of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A graduate of Hunter Collage and Columbia Teacher's Collage, Mrs. Carroll was a high school math teacher in New York City. A long time resident of Larchmont, NY, she was a member of St. Augustine's Church, where she was active in the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the Ladies of Charity and the Larchmont Shore Club. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 11 am at St. Augustine Church in Larchmont. JOHN J.
