WILLIAMS, RUBY E., 83 Ruby E. Williams, age 83, of Orange Lake, FL, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2014. She was born in Risco, MO on June 23, 1931. Mrs Williams moved to Florida from Dexter, MO in 1968. She retired from the University of Florida Zoology Department as an Animal Technician. Mrs Williams was a Christian. She is survived by grandchildren Theresa (Chris) Hensley, Richard Chambers, David (Sarah) Chambers, Michael (Kara) Chambers, Ashley (Phil) Deak, Rachel Drochter, Katie Ellen Drochter and Johnny Wayne (Melissa) Gaines; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters Patsy Regan, Sharon (Paul) Macke and Shirley (Jim) Drochter. Mrs Williams was preceded in death by her husband Charles (Demp) Williams; daughters Dereth Purcell and Deborah Chambers; and siblings Joyce Shipman, Peggy Walker, Alfred Walker and Edward Walker. A visitation will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 6-8pm. A funeral service will also be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11am. Burial will follow at Millwood Cemetery, Reddick, FL. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County.
