Rose L. Bennett, 53 years, of Peekskill, died April 13, 2003. Rose was born in Washington, DC, November 3, 1949 to Dennis and Barbara (Adams) Moore. She is a graduate of Marymount College in Tarrytown and has been employed in the Human Resources Department of Neiman Marcus, White Plains for several years. Rose lived in Elmsford for many years and has resided in Peekskill since 1997 and was a member of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church where she served as an Administrative Assistant. She was also a member of the Work Force Initiative through Westchester Community College. She is survived by her husband, Donald (Don) Bennett, Jr., son and daughter-in-law, 1st Lt. Damon and Althea Bennett of Ft. Lewis, WA, a granddaughter, Michaela Bennett, mother, Barbara Moore of Laurel, MD, brothers Dana and Reginald Moore and sister, Denise Moore. The family will receive friends at the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 648 Harrison Avenue, Peekskill on Friday Evening 7-9 pm and Saturday Morning 9-10 am followed by Funeral Services at 10 am. Interment Services Monday 1 pm at the Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, Bacontown, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Support Connection, 360 Underhill Avenue, Yorktown Heights, NY, 10598.
