Mrs. Rosa Lee Johnson 1933- 2007 - SAVANNAH - Mrs. Rosa Lee Johnson was born September 4, 1933 in Savannah, Georgia, the second child of the late Corine Speed and Peter Brown, Sr. Her husband Johnnie Johnson and two son's; Robert B. Capers and Eugene Brown, Sr. also preceded her in death. She joined First Nazareth Missionary Baptist Church at an early age where she was a dedicated member and sang in the choir. "Rosa", as she was affectionately called, was educated in the Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools. On Saturday evening August 25, 2007 at 2:15 p.m., Rosa Lee Johnson peacefully departed this life for her eternal life. She leaves to cherish her precious memories one daughter; Joe Ann Brown, two sons; Jerome (Paulette) Brown, Sr., Terry Dean (Barbara) Brown, Sr., all of Savannah, GA, three sisters; Irene Middleton, of Savannah, GA, Irene Prester of Estell, SC, Debra Dukes of Savannah, GA, three brothers; Richard (Lue Helen) Duncan, of Savannah, GA, Carl Brown, of Atlanta, GA, Peter (Charla) Brown, Jr., one daughter -in-law; Janice Brown, 36 grands, 57 great-grands, aunts, uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
