JAMES, COOPER ROSA LEE - age 82 was born on February 25, 1932 in Pulaski, Little Rock Arkansas to Richard Cooper and Lucy Evelyn Biles. She was the older of the two siblings. She departed this life to go home on Friday, September 19, 2014 at her home in Knoxville, Tennessee after a short illness. Mrs. James is a member of Shiloh United Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. Mrs. James worked for St. Mary's Hospital for 30 years as an Obstetrical Technician, and was loved and respected by all who knew her. She saw a lot of children being born as well as some of her own grandchildren. Rosa is preceded in death by her only sister Mrs. Ollie Lee Cooper Knox; husband, Mr. Edward W. James, Sr.; 2 grandsons, Edward W. James III, and Travor Haslerig. She is blessed by a very special friend who cared for her through her illness Mrs. Brenda J. Walker. She is survived by her six children, David S. James, Patricia D. James, Debra A. James Harshaw, Belinda Y. (Howard) Moore, Brenda S. James Cribb, Lisandra L. (Edward) Tucker and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other relatives and many dear friends. Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM with services to follow at Unity Mortuary Chapel. Interment to follow at Longview Cemetery.
