CARTER, Rosa B., 92, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 21, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial with Reverend Roger Parks officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. The granddaughter of Swiss immigrants, Rosa was a resident of Prattville, AL, and a member of Heritage Baptist Church. Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ben Carter; parents, W.C. and Mary Willitte; one brother, William Willitte; and two sisters, Nettie Walker and Christine Pearson. She is survived by her five nieces, Betty Crowe, Lois Hardwick, Sandra Roberts, Mary Ballard, Shirley Killett, and Linda Caver; two nephews, William Earl Willitte and Shag Luster; and numerous great-nieces and great- nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Mitch Crowe, Dion Zumo, Travis Crowe, Shag Luster, William Earl Willitte, and Damon Jones. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Hardwick and Mrs. Crowe would like to extend a special appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Prattville Baptist for their care and compassion.
