ANDERSON, ROBERT THORNTON, founding partner of the law firm of Anderson & Rush, Central Ave., Orlando died Sept 4, 2003. He was born on November 27, 1911. Mr. Anderson attended high school in Haines City graduating on to the University of Florida where he earned a degree in Business Administration and a law degree from the University of Florida Law School. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Johnson Anderson; a son, The Reverend Robert M. Anderson of Deland; a daughter, Judith E. Telling of New Jersey; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at St. Luke's Cathedral, Orlando, FL. Sept. 11, 2003 at 3PM, with The Rev. Robert M. Anderson officiating. The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Orlando Museum of Art, as Mr. Anderson served as past President. Carey Hand Cox Parker Funeral Home.
