Robert-J. Rioux, né en 1927, conjoint de Noella-J. Rossignol, fils de Edward et Josephine, père de Gail, Doreen, Dwayne, Vermont et Bruce, est décédé le 13 novembre 2014 à l'âge de 87 ans. Veuillez consulter son avis de décès ici:
-> 1927-2014 Winslow - Robert J. Rioux, 87, died Thursday, November 13, 2014, at the Veterans Administration Center at Togus, Maine. He was born in Waterville, Maine, on January 24, 1927, the son of Edward and Josephine (Michaud) Rioux. He was educated in local schools and was formerly employed as a plumber for Jerome Reny Plumbing Co. for many years. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. After his discharge, he was a member of the Navy reserve for 6 years. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Noella J. (Rossignol) Rioux who passed away on September 28, 2012, and also by a brother, Edward Rioux, and two sisters, Cecile West and an infant sister Jacqueline. He is survived by two sons, Bruce Rioux of Burlington, Vermont, and Dwayne Rioux and wife Diane of Winslow; two daughters, Doreen White and husband Bruce of Waterville and Gail Allen of Pittsfield; four grandchildren, Heidi Hinton and husband Tim of Vassalboro, Jason Rioux and wife Trina of Colorado, Emily Vincent and husband Seth of Auburn and Father Sebastian White, O.P. of Washington, D.C.; four great-grandchildren, Brady and Jackson Vincent, Adilynn Rioux and Olivia Grace Hinton; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Patriots Place, Togus for their loving care of Dad in his last months of life. There will be no public visitation and a Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Notre Dame Church, 116 Silver Street, Waterville with his grandson, Father Sebastian White, O.P., officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall immediately after Mass. Committal prayers with military honors will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mount Vernon Road, Augusta, Maine. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in his memory to the Wounded Warriors Project.org/Donate. Condolences may be expressed and guest book signed at www.gallantfh.com.
