Robert John Anderson, 60, of Raleigh, NC, died Monday, August 11, 2003 after a long battle with prostate cancer. He is also survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Kuehn; son, Robert Anderson; daughter Mary Anderson, grandson, Larry Stevens III; mother, Margaret Clifford Anderson; two stepdaughters; two step-grandsons; four siblings; and nieces and nephews. After 30 years at IBM, Bob retired to take on the challenge of raising awareness of prostate cancer in North Carolina. Visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13th at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh NC 27612. Funeral Mass Thursday at 1 p.m. at The Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi, 11401 Leesville Road, Raleigh NC 27613. Inurnment at St. Francis Columbarium.
