Rebecca M. Smith - Melbourne - Rebecca M. Smith, 59, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at her residence. She was born in Ft. Knox, KY on May 28, 1950. Rebecca was a 1968 graduate of Eau Gallie High School, 1994 Rollins College, 2007 Webster University, a Charter member of The Community Band of Brevard and a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ronald R. Smith; mother, Dorothy Mae Keyser; daughters, Ronette Schoppmeyer and Robin Smith; brother, Ronald Meek Keyser; two sisters, Rosalyn M. Thompson and Rita Marie Ferrier; and her grandson, Michael James Hribal. There will be a funeral service at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9th in the chapel at Florida Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Melanoma Research Foundation, 170 Township Line Road, Bldg. B, Hills borough, NJ 08844 or the Humane Society of your choice.
