Ralph "Bill" Walker, age 80, of 111 Old Fairview Road, Fountain Arms Apartments No. 39, died Friday, December 15, 2006, at the Greenville Memorial Hospital.A son of the late Hattie Anderson and George Lomax and husband of the late Catherine F. Walker, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired employee of the Fountain Inn Frozen Plant.He is survived by two sons, Ralph Franklin Walker and Eddie Richardson, both of Fountain Inn; four daughters, Linda Walker Drummond of Simpsonville, Sandra Walker (Tommie) Gordon of Mauldin, and Hattie Rebecca Walker and Cynthia (Donnie) Wells, both of Fountain Inn; two brothers, Andrew Bolden of Charlotte, N.C., and Cordell Lomax of Greenville; four sisters, Georgia Lomax of Greenville, Rosie B. Fowler of Simpsonville, and Mamie Stewart and Verda Stewart, both of Washington, S.C.; and a nephew reared in the home, Thomas Fowler.Funeral services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Beasley Funeral Home chapel, Fountain Inn, with Rev. Robert Dodd officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland East Memorial Park, Simpsonville. The family is at the home of Linda Walker Drummond, 150 Duffie Road, Simpsonville.
