R. Darlene Anderson, 82, Sarasota, died Sept. 9, 2005. She was born Dec. 21, 1922, in Superior, Iowa, and came to Sarasota in 2000 from Shell Lake, Wis. She retired as a secretary in a law firm and was a member of Venice Area Swedish Club and Sorrento Golf Course in Nokomis. She was a member and past president of Palm and Pines Ladies Group, Nokomis. She was a Lutheran and a member of Salem Lutheran Church Choir and First Methodist Church Choir, Spooner, Wis. Survivors include daughters Sandra Helms of Bradenton and Karen Burkholder of Trego, Wis.; sons Jim Schroeder of Trego, Gary Twining of Clear Lake, Wis., and William Twining of Two Harbors, Minn.; a brother, Bobby L. Wade of Tampa; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be Oct. 1 in Shell Lake. Packer Funeral Home, Sarasota, is in charge.
