In the early morning hours of May 6, 2013, Priscilla Hall passed quietly out of this world and into the next. She was most dearly beloved by the friends and family she left behind. Priscilla, born to Richard and Eleanor Hall, came into the world on January 31, 1928, a beautiful baby reminiscent of the incredible soul she kept inside. She spent her childhood on the Cape, a shy, dignified girl who always had an incredibly sweet smile. In her charmed, much loved childhood she mastered the piano with beautiful skill. She drew and painted with a flowingly expert hand and loved her friends and her family with a bigger than life passion. At 18, she met her future husband, Kenneth Foster, on the beach. They were both instantly charmed with each other, married a year later in 1948 and in the next year they were blessed with a little boy, Kenneth H. Foster. The three of them lived a happy life in an old Cape Cod house on Main St. in South Dennis. Priscilla loved sunny days, blue skies, adored dogs, enjoyed feeding and watching the birds, and most of all loved her family and friends. She played the organ beautifully for many years at the South Dennis Congregational Church. As a proud 11th generation Dennis resident, she enjoyed acting in plays at Liberty Hall and cooking for the Saturday night bean suppers. Beautiful and immaculately dressed, she loved every day with the same unique dignity and grace with which she died. She has left her life here for an even more beautiful one above, and we will wait most patiently for the day we will meet her again. Priscilla leaves her loving family; son, Ken Foster and his wife, Lyn, of South Dennis, two granddaughters; Ashley Foster and her fiance, Michael Moloney, and Kierstin Apalakis and her husband, Chris, two grandchildren; Nicholas and Noelle Apalakis. A private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Liberty Hall, P. O. Box 52, South Dennis, MA 02660.
