Carter and a resident of Madison, died Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Gallatin Health Care Center.Mrs. Carter was the daughter of the late Dewey and Oma Richardson King. She was a member of the Madison Church of Christ and more recently attended Neely's Bend Church of Christ. She is survived by two sons, Randy Carter (Dee) and Mark Carter; a sister, Doris Coker; two grandchildren, Larry Carter and Ashley Hilgeford (Jerry); several nieces and nephews.A Celebration of Life ceremony will be conducted Friday, September 26, 2014 at 2 p.m., at Spring Hill Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 3 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
