MYERS, Phyllis March 3, 1933 - October 24, 2009 Passed away peacefully at the Garry J. Armstrong Long-Term Care Home. Daughter of the late Bernard and Cassandra Williams, Phyllis was born and raised in Jamaica and came to Canada in 1964. Beloved mother of Bari Leigh (Sokratis Anagnosti), Davidson (Susan Thorne Myers) all of Ottawa and Nike (Anthony Molinaro), Oakville. Proud grandmother of Kristina and Alexandra Anagnosti; Isabel, Matthew and Daniel Molinaro; and Liam Myers. Also survived by extended family throughout North America, Europe and Jamaica. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to friends and relatives for their thoughtfulness and concern at this time. Special thanks to the staff and volunteers at the Garry J. Armstrong Long-Term Care Home for the exceptional care given to Phyllis over her five year residence. Friends are invited to the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry Funeral Home, 315 McLeod Street on Wednesday November 4, 2009 after 12 noon followed by a Chapel Service at 2 p.m. Those wishing, donations to the Parkinsons Society or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
