BROOKS, Phyllis Margaret - Peacefully in her sleep, our beloved Auntie Phyl entered into rest on September 24, 2009 at the Brantford General Hospital in her 93rd year. Cherished aunt of Brenda Cochrane and her husband Dale, Paul Wilkinson and his wife Florence. Treasured great-aunt of Erin (Nick), Kaeli, Christopher, Donna (Vince), Joanne (Bill). Loving great-great-aunt of Cortland, Emily and Taylor. Devoted to her predeceased sister Dorothy and her husband Roy Wilkinson. Proud 40 year veteran of Continental Can Company. "Our Miss Brooks" spent her life giving and doing for others, both at home, work and in the community. Non-judgmental by nature, her calm, patient manner was respected by all who knew and loved her. Phyllis will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Friends will be received at the McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Sunday 7--9 p.m., Monday 10-11 a.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
