Carlton - Phyllis King Smith, 65, wife of the late George Miles Smith, died Thursday, January 5, 2005 at her residence.Born in Elberton, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Littie Bond King. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her infant son, Stacey Lee Smith.Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Keyleum M. & Lynn Smith of Carlton, brothers; Floyd King of Hartwell, Tony King of Elberton, grandchildren; Dusty, Kody, Dakota and Kailey Smith.Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 8, 2005 at 2PM at Sandy Cross Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Burt officiating. Visitation will be held tonight from 5 to 7 at the funeral home.Flowers will be accepted.Lord & Stephens, CRAWFORD is in charge of arrangements.
