GRIVER-SMITH, Phyllis After a full and vivacious life Phyllis is going on a well deserved voyage. Phyllis passed away suddenly in Toronto on Sunday April 4, 2010 in her eighty-seventh year. Always positive and upbeat she will be greatly missed by her numerous friends and loving family. Phil was the beloved mother to Howard and daughter-in-law Lynn. Grandmother to her much cherished Sabryna. Phyllis was predeceased by her daughter, Marsha, her brother, Dennis, and her sister, Margaret (Mags). Phyllis was a pioneer in the travel industry, always with a ready smile and a sparkle in her eye. She faced adversity with extraordinary aplomb. A celebration of Phyllis' life will be held Saturday, April 10, 2 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Carfrae Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in the name of Phyllis Griver-Smith at The Toronto General and Western Hospital Foundation to support the Liver Transplantation Research Fund.
