BROWN, Phyllis (nee Caney) Peacefully, at the Ottawa General Hospital on Thursday, May 26, 2011 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late David. Loving mother of Donna (Steven Gilberg), Kathryn and David (Mark). Dear grandmother of Nicholas, Matthew, Lucas and Christian. Caring sister of Joan (Gulio Stangherlin), Pat, the late Rita Quinn and the late Tom Caney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sincere thanks to the staff at the Glebe Centre for their care, kindness and compassion. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 1758 Alta Vista Drive. Interment Cote des Neiges Cemetery, Montreal. Those wishing may make donations to The Alzheimer Society.
