Philip R. Henderson Philip Ray Henderson, 75, Springfield, passed away March 18, 2007, in his home. A decorated Korean War veteran, Philip worked as a draftsman and engineer. He married Tina M. Call in 1979, who survives his passing. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Emory W. and Nina B. Henderson. Philip loved fishing and the outdoors, was an avid wood crafter, and was a loving father and husband. He is survived by his children, Dustin, Tony and Sheila Hyden, and Kelly Call-Haddock; and Joy and their children, Lou Ann and James Donahue, Lynn Henderson, Lee Jay Henderson, Layne Henderson, and Lisa Turnbull; nine grandchildren; sister-in-law Wanda Sharp; loyal friends Bill and Pat Bruce; and nurse and close friend Lori Lewis. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Robert Powers for his compassion and friendship; Hospice nurse Debbie; uncle and aunt Norm and Sarah Pratt for their love and support through Phil's life; and Daniel Drewry and all employees of Dan's Drug Mart for their many years of care and expertise. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 23, at 9:30 a.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, with burial to follow. Visitation will be this evening, March 22, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
