Peter Angelo, 73, Punta Gorda, died July 17, 2005. He was born April 21, 1932, in Battle Creek, Mich., moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1986 and then to Punta Gorda in 1998. He served in the Navy during the Korean War and owned a transport company for many years that worked with General Electric. He also sold insurance for MetLife and was a professional golfer in Cold Water, Mich., and at Atlantis Country Club in Lantana. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Marie; an aunt, Marie Kuzma of Battle Creek, Mich.; and two nieces. No services are scheduled at this time. Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services, Punta Gorda Chapel, is in charge.
