Funeral services were conducted Thursday, September 11th at 2 p.m., at Mt. Denson Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Wayne Ralph officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Denson Cemetery, with Colt Alley, Dustin Johnson, John Price, Jimmy Johnson, Tyler Sprouse, and Brandon Sprouse serving as Pallbearers. Penny was born July 26, 1968 in Robertson County. She was a member of the Springfield High School Class of 1986 and was a member of Red River Assembly of God Church. Penny worked as an office manager for B&E Motors. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchild, Bryson. Penny is survived by her husband: Michael Johnson of Springfield; daughter: Darcey Johnson and fianc&#233;, Colt Alley of Springfield; son: Dustin Johnson of Springfield; parents: Charles and Kay Hand of Springfield; sister: Angel Sprouse of Springfield, and grandchild: Bryson Alley of Springfield.The family request memorial contributions be made to the Penny Johnson Memorial Fund, c/o Robertson County Funeral Home, (615) 384-0036.
