PENNY JEAN LAYNE Born January 31, 1951 and really lived, until her untimely death, September 24, 2008. Penny's undying spirit lead her courageous yet unsuccessful battle with cancer; a fight for which we are all very proud. Penny is survived by Peggy, Ken, Troy (Wendy), Brett (Chris, Jack, Charlie), Carlie (Ian), Kristine (Trent), Leanne (Roger, Morgan, Brooklyn), and also by dear friends Bud, Peggy, Wen, Donna, and many, many others. Penny's family would like to express sincere thanks to Dr V Starke for his belief in Penny's will to live and his dedicated service to this end, and to the wonderful and compassionate staff at Laurel Place Hospice, all of whom are to be commended for their exceptionally human interpretation of professionalism and care.
