<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Peggy Smith1932-2014Peggy Smith, age 81, of Pensacola, FL, went to be with her Lord Jesus after living a full and faithful life, on May 10, 2014.She was a devout Christian, loving mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Warrington United Methodist Church. To her children and grandchildren she was loving and caring and gave many years of service to others by serving as a Red Cross Volunteer for 18 years at the Pensacola Naval Hospital. She also enjoyed gardening as well as racing and old cars.She was born to the late Onzelle and Obie Willis. She married the love of her life the late Ret. Naval MST Chief John Smith. She is preceded in death by her sister, Martha Ann Van Heuveln and her brother Billy Ray Willis.She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Connie Van Driel (Don); Jenifer Whittaker (Glenn); her sons, Eddie Koenderman (Chrissy) and Michael Lane. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Anna, Lacey, Olivia, July, Grey and Jake as well as 7 great grandchildren.Funeral services will be Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 11 AM at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Baily of Warrington United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 12:30 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, May 14, from 5 until 7 PM.
