Peggy Morgan Johnson Peggy Morgan Johnson, 73, a retired professor of economics and history, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003. The service will be at 11 a.m. EST Saturday at Bevis Funeral Home (385-2193). Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on Jan. 27, 1929, the daughter of Alden Webb Morgan and Edith Cattanach Morgan.She received her B.A. and M.A. in history from Texas College of Arts and Industries and her Ph. D. in British history and economics from the University of Oklahoma. She was a member of the faculty at Stephens College in Columbia, Mo. for many years. She is survived by two daughters, Claudia Johnson (and husband Ormond Loomis) of Tallahassee and Pat Sellergren (and husband Mark) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a sister, Patricia McArdle; and five grandchildren, Anne Loomis, Ross Loomis, Kate Sellergren O'Donnell, Margaret Sellergren and Jordan Sellergren.
