Mrs. Peggy Evans Kennedy - REIDSVILLE - Mrs. Peggy Evans Kennedy age 91 passed away Wednesday November 14, 2012 at Optim Medical Center Tattnall. The Sylvania native was reared in Rocky Ford moving to Reidsville in 1960. She was a homemaker and a member of the Reidsville United Methodist Church. She loved to cook, tend to her family and work in her yard. Mrs. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Johnny Kennedy, Sr.; parents, J. Foy and Lottie Evans. She is survived by: Son, John A. Kennedy, Jr. of Reidsville; Daughter, Karen Kennedy Winston of Reidsville; Granddaughter, Ashley Elizabeth Winston of Charlotte, NC; Sister, Betty Evans Small of Atlanta; Nephews, Billy M. Small and David M. Small both of Atlanta; Great nephew, Will Small of Atlanta. Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Friday from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Saturday from the Reidsville City Cemetery with the Reverend Steve Miller officiating.
