MITCHELL, Peggy Joyce, 71, of Tampa, passed away June 8, 2008. She moved to Tampa from Bluefield, W.Va., in 1949. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, John W. "Pop" Mitchell Sr.; children, Charles D, John W. (Margie), Billy R. (Debra), Joyce J. (Moe) and Connie S.; siblings, Joe, Pat, Shirley, Evelyn, Shelvia and Frances; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Jimmy. There will be a visitation 10-11 a.m. Friday, June 13, with service to follow at 11 a.m., at Dobies Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery.
