HARLEM, Ga. - Mrs. Peggy Cobb, 69, wife of the late, Joseph W. Cobb, entered into rest Thursday, September 19, 2013, at her residence. Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 22, 2013, at 3:00 PM from Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Gerald McNutt officiating. Family and friends are requested to meet at the graveside. Mrs. Cobb, daughter of the late Hershel J. and Myrtis Brooks Combs, was a long time employee of the Town Tavern and a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and nana. She loved people. She was preceded in death by her son, Todd Livingston, and by her sister, Eleanor Marshall. She is survived by her sons, James Eugene Glosser, Sr, of Harlem and Jodie W. Cobb, also of Harlem; her daughters, Lisa Minyard, of Harlem, and Tracy Livingston Rau and her husband, Carl, of Thomson; her brother, Bobby Combs, of Oak Grove, KY; her sister, Dorothy Usry, of Harlem; her grandchildren, Heather and Russ, Ashlie and Daniel, Crystal, Tyler and Christy, Kent and Amber, Gene and Laci, Josh, Nick, Matthew Petie , Kaitie, and Craig and Courtney; and by nine great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 21, 2013, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
